Every archive秉承以“物”为线索，以“档案”为方法，以“文化对话”为目标进行实践和探索。
Every Archive is devoted to the cultural life of “objects” and the archival progress. At once, a print journal, a curatorial programme, and an emergent cultural proposition.

我们对“物”的定义
物，既可以是手工艺、过程或建筑，也可以是记忆、习俗或思想——我们对“物”的理解，并不限于实体形态。Every Archive认为，凡具感知、传承与意义者皆可称为“物”。
An “Object” may be a craft, a process, or a building; it may equally be a memory, a custom, or a thought. Our conception of the “object” is not restricted to its material form. For Every Archive, whatever carries perception, transmits inheritance, and embodies meaning may rightly be called an “object.”

我们的目标
Every Archive 致力于通过内容策划与传播，将文化经验转化为可流通的知识产 品与品牌资产，从而创造文化与经济的双重价值。这种“经验”应超越历史阶段、地理界限与意识形态，能够转化为大众可理解、可感知、可参与的文化形式。
在这一过程中，“档案实践”是一种以文明为核心、延展至多个时空与区域的文化系统，并非局限于现代政治地理概念。Every Archive将持续发掘它在当下社会中的现实价值与未来可能。
Every Archive is committed to transforming cultural experience into knowledge exchange and brand assets through curatorial practice and dissemination, thereby generating both cultural and economic value. Such “experience” must transcend historical period, geographical boundaries, and ideological frameworks, and be translatable into cultural forms that are intelligible, sensorial, and participatory for the wider public.
Within this process, “archival practice” is understood as a civilisational system — extending across times and regions—rather than a construct confined to the modern categories of political geography. Every Archive will continue to explore its various interpretation and its potentials under contemporary circumstances.

我们的研究方法和形式
Every Archive 将打破学科界限，主张跨学科的方法论。融合建筑学的空间观、历史学的时序逻辑、地理学的流动视角与人类学的田野经验等跨学科知识，以档案为形式，对“物”进行记录、诠释与呈现。
Every Archive seeks to transcend disciplinary boundaries, explore and express via inter-disciplinary methodology. We draw together the spatial imagination of architecture, the temporal logics of history, the fluid perspectives of geography, and the fieldwork practices of anthropology. Through the form of the archive, we record, interpret, and re-present the manifold realities of the “object.”

我们的精神
Every Archive 所追求的是文化的多重性、经验的分享性，不主张经验的唯一性。Every Archive 不追求观念的统一，不定义所谓的真理。我们永远保持和追求开放、流动并具有反思性的知识表达态度。
在这里，档案研究不是归类文化，知识分享不是框定思想，文化传播不是纸上谈兵。我们将呈现这样一份档案，汇图籍之丰，聚文笔之盛：
让工艺与纸媒再次闪耀，
将人文与商业结成同盟，
让四海之际的物质文化，
光兹前绪，再启斯文。
Every Archive affirms cultural multiplicity and the necessity of sharing both knowledge and experience, resisting the reduction of lived realities to singular or limited typologies. We do not seek the unification of ideologies, nor do we lay claim to the definition of so-called ‘truths.’ Instead, we cultivate an attitude toward knowledge—its exchange, expression, and critical discussion—that remains open, fluid, and reflexive.
Here, archival research is not the classification of culture; the sharing of knowledge is not the confinement of thinking; cultural transmission is never a matter of idle theorising. Every Archive aspires to present such an archive — abundant in visuals, resonant in words:
To make craft and print sparkle once again,
To forge an alliance between the humanistic and the commercial,
To gather the material cultures of the world,
To renew the traces of the past and rejuvenate the immaterial.
